Those of you who are, like I am, old enough to remember “Saturday Night Live’s” Men’s Synchronized Swimming sketch may remember the quote in the title and recognize the image above.
If you’ve not had the pleasure of watching this bit, I highly recommend it:
At any rate, that is neither here nor there – I just love the bit and it relates to this post… sort of.
At The Mountain House, my bikes have a choice of being parked in the driveway and using a cover (I really don’t like covers, as seen here: I am really good at everything I do ) or being parked under a donkey shed awning in a relatively tight space. I tried parking them down under the awning last night.
It … well, I didn’t drop anything or hurt myself (much,) so I’ve got that going for me, which is nice:
Bonus dog footage at the end.
One of the really sucky things about having a lowered bike (the KTM) is that the sidestand is way too freaking long, and that makes it hard to get both down and up. Thanks to how it locks into its “down” position, it actually has to go farther down before it will go up, which makes things… interesting. I’m going to see about having a welding shop cut it down.
At any rate, that’s what I have for you today. o/
